World Class Sonoma County Vineyard Estate
Taking full advantage of a spectacular, approximately 20-acre wine country setting, this effortless blend of architecture and agriculture is situated on a gently sloping knoll, gracefully encircled by approximately 16 acres of high-quality Russian River Valley AVA Pinot Noir vineyards that produce award winning wines.
Mature oaks and breathtaking wine country views create a stunning backdrop. The property includes a 4 bedroom/3.5 bath approximately 5,000 sq. ft. main residence built of glass, stucco and stone. There is a cantilevered guest room that appears to float above the land and an approximately 810 sq. ft. "barn" modeled after the main home. The steel framed residence was constructed over a period of four years and was designed by Robert Swatt of Swatt Miers Architects. The easy care landscaping was designed by Bernard Trainor.
The home boasts a Savant System that allows for remote customization of heating, cooling, security, lighting and sound system with multiple indoor and outdoor speakers. The light flooded kitchen features top-of-the-line Miele appliances, Zephyr exhaust hood, gleaming Caesarstone counter tops, custom manufactured cabinetry designed by PoggenPohl and a walk-in two room pantry with built-in storage. The owner designed a unique and easily accessible, temperature controlled wine cellar with approximately 1,800 bottle capacity. A second entry is via a mud room; also from an attached 609 sq. ft. two-car garage.
Virtually every room enjoys sweeping vistas through floor-to-ceiling glass walls with Fleetwood pocket doors with Brio screens; bedrooms feature automatic integrated shades, bedrooms and baths have operable skylights. Effortless indoor/outdoor living is embraced when floor-to-ceiling glass doors are open; St. Tropez limestone radiant heated floors extend to the expansive pool terrace. An infinity edge saltwater pool, bocce ball court, fire pit and fully-appointed, outdoor kitchen with lounging area and television allow for convenient entertaining.

Neighborhood
Windsor
Windsor is a community that has close ties to its agricultural roots. Rolling hills dotted with live oaks and acres of vineyards surround the town’s many beautiful properties.
Windsor has done an incredible job of preserving its roots while looking to the future. The downtown area offers a mix of shopping and housing centered on the four-acre town green. In an echo of times past, some of the owners of the restaurants, bookstores, and boutiques live above their stores. Today, the plaza serves as a vibrant meeting place and a focal point for town activities, including a farmers' market held Thursdays and Sundays, where you'll find top chefs from Bay Area restaurants sourcing the ingredients for that night's menu.
Each year, Windsor hosts the Sonoma County Hot Air Balloon Classic, an event that draws dozens of balloonists and thousands of families who watch the spectacular lift-offs fill the sky.
